Following on from from her touring solo performance ‘Barely Visible’, Rowena Gander presents a work in process that unveils the social and private dynamics of lesbian relationships. The performers physically explore attachment in women, internalised homophobia, and the mysterious and deviant nature of same sex eroticism.
Rowena has recently worked with international artist, Marina Abramović who world renown for her ‘Imponderabilia’ performance piece. She will be joined by Liverpool Physical Theatre Director and artist Elinor Randle.
The outcome of the R&D will be revealed and shared during Leap festival.
