Little Furnace


Serving up the very best wood-fired Neopolitan pizzas since 2013, this Smithdown Road institution is still open for delivery and collection (contact-free option).

Open from 5pm you can order through Deliveroo or call ahead and collect. And please be patient folks, they’re knocking out some of the finest pizza in south Liverpool, so might take a few minutes to pick up the phone. Challenging times, bare with.

Byrnes Fish and Chips


Forget gourmet restaurants and gastro pubs, many would argue the best fish and chips in Liverpool is Byrne’s.

A family-run, fourth generation chippy based in north Liverpool with queues to match its reputation, they’re still open Saturdays from 4-8pm and delivering to L4, L9, L11, L12, L13, L14. There is a £2 delivery charge. Call 0151 280 2058 for the finest chippy tea money can buy.

Black Lodge Brewery


You’ll have to recreate the superb customer service and great atmosphere in your own home, but Black Lodge Brewery can still provide the fantastic selection of real ales for all tastes. This treasured microbrewery based in the Baltic Triangle, are delivering cans and mini-kegs, with a limited number of free delivery services available.

Woo Tan Scran


As well as boasting a magnificent name, this Lark Lane gem does vegan takes on all the chippy tea classics and is delivering in south Liverpool. Our personal favourite is satay seitan and chips. With some crispy ‘duck’ pancakes on the side. And dumplings. In fact, it’s all top stuff.

Nabzy’s


The Friday night/Saturday morning institution is still firing out its fried chicken and chips, all with the magic red salt on. While nothing can replicate the anticipation of jealously eyeing everyone else’s orders while you wait, we can confirm it tastes just as good on the couch as it does walking up Hardman Street.

Indigo Greens


The vegan specialists on Queens Drive, voted the UK’s best vegan restaurant by VegFest last year, have their entire menu available every day. Think curried cauliflower and lentil salad, tandoori mushroom wraps, loaded vegan hot dogs and even roasts.

Outpost Liverpool


In normal times, the Renshaw Street-based Outpost Liverpool is a music venue, bar and restaurant serving craft beer and 100% vegan/veggie pizza. During these unprecedented times however, Outfit are providing limited services, for collection and delivery of their mouthwatering pizzas. Delivery is within a 3 mile radius, with a £2 delivery charge. Deliveries over the water will be charged at £3 (unless the tunnel is charging again in which case it’ll be £5).

Breck n Brunch


Breck n Brunch is a cafe based on Breck Road, Liverpool, and serves up all manner of tasty treats, from belly-busting breakfast grub to tasty traditional roasts. You can still order food with them through Deliveroo and Uber Eats for contact-free delivery.
