So in 2019, the year that played host to the Netball World Cup, a new programme aptly named ‘RISE’ looked to pay homage to inspirational women both at home and abroad.
Featuring local and international female producers, practitioners, artists, poets, musicians, choreographers, speakers and thinkers, ‘RISE’ provided a platform to create and share new commissions, exciting artworks and provocative interventions.
