To herald the arrival of the fleet, our circus troupe of acrobats, jugglers, stilt walkers and uni cyclists will be flying around town bearing news from afar and  sharing tales of all types of nautical goings on above and below decks.

You may find some mysterious sea creatures washed up in Williamson Square, or catch a glimpse of a tap dancing canary being chased down Church Street. And across the weekend Liverpool 1 will be joining in the festivities with their own programme of celebratory events.

But be sure not to miss Luke Jerram’s spectacular  Museum of the Moon,  which will be guiding the Tall ships as they navigate into port from its stunning vantage point within the well of Liverpool Cathedral. Check out our special programme of lunar inspired activities below and the best times to see this awe inspiring,  truly amazing art work.

Be sure to drop in to the party of the decade over at Liverpool ONE. To celebrate their 10th birthday, the award winning retail and leisure destination invites you to be their guest from 12pm on Bank Holiday Monday 28 May.
