We know you love a party on the pier and this year is no exception as we once again bring the Liverpool waterfront to life with a host of FREE open-air musical performances on THREE magnificent stages. The main stage at the Pier Head will play host to a fantastic line up from Friday night to Sunday in partnership with the BBC as we welcome big name artists to our fabulous waterfront.
The party starts on Friday night in partnership with the BBC as we celebrate BBC Music Day from 5.00pm with a stellar line up of acts to get the weekend rocking and we continue the party late into the night until 11.00pm.
Saturday and Sunday are family friendly affairs – on Saturday we provide the perfect soundtrack to a soultastic day of funk and soul before we take time out on Sunday with a musical legend musical stars to enjoy some classic songs perfect for getting your dancing shoes on!
Sound Waves Stage at Mann Island Basin – grass roots performances from community choirs and musicians and a programme of street theatre on Saturday and Sunday.
Ship Stage at Hartley Quay (Kaskelot) – in celebration of our twinning with the Dublin River Festival, Saturday’s music will be dedicated to all things Irish with Sunday playing host to laid back classics and acoustic tracks From a spectacular Friday night of music to a weekend bursting with toe-tapping hits – you’ll definitely need your dancing shoes.
