A cadet is a young man or woman who is training in the armed forces and in Liverpool there are a number of cadet programmes currently running. Not only do we have the only Royal Marine cadet programme in the UK here in Merseyside but, as of 2019, women are now able to join the Royal Marines for the first time in British history.
