Jacaranda Baltic have announced they are throwing a huge free-to-attend launch party on Saturday 20th January showcasing Liverpool’s best talent and the best part is… everybody is invited!

On the 1st January The Jacaranda sent shockwaves through Liverpool when they announced a brand new record store and 400 capacity live space in Cain’s Brewery, Baltic Triangle would be opening on Friday 12th January – 65 years after opening their original site on Slater Street.

In just the first few months of 2024 acts such as Tom Odell, Dizzee Rascal and Red Rum Club are all set to launch their albums from Jacaranda Baltic.  The launch party will carry the torch of the original Jacaranda with a line-up of Liverpool’s best local talent with acts having been carefully selected to showcase every aspect of the Liverpool band scene in 2024.

In true Jacaranda style they’ve invited new boys The Driver’s Club to play their first live show at the launch party, Sterling Press are considered to be one of hottest acts in the north-west, Rock N Roll Circus are widely considered to be Liverpool’s tightest covers band and Zuzu, who will be headlining the party, has multiple songs with over 1-million streams on Spotify.

Every person who attends the launch party will receive a special code from the Jacaranda Records team allowing them to download a new Jacaranda Records EP featuring Voice-O-Graph recordings from each of the acts performing on the night. The Launch Party EP has been recorded especially for the event on The Jacaranda’s 1958 ‘cut-straight-to-vinyl’ Voice-O-Graph machine.

The line-up for the evening is The Driver’s Club, Outsider, Sterling Press, Rock N Roll Circus and Zuzu. The Jacaranda Baltic Launch Party starts at 19:00 at Jacaranda Baltic, Cain’s Brewery and doors open from 18:00.

Graham Stanley, Managing Director of The Jacaranda and Jacaranda Baltic says:

“You’ve got one chance at a first impression so we wanted to show everybody that even though this is a new site in a new part of town The Jacaranda DNA is still there and that’s exactly what the launch party is all about.”

“Every act on the bill is at a different point of their journey as a band but the one thing that connects them all is that they’ve all been good friends of The Jacaranda over the years.”
