A special afternoon concert is to be held in the City of Liverpool’s jewel in the crown The Great Hall in St. Georges Hall on Sunday 15th May 2016 to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s 90th birthday.

The City will celebrate along with the rest of the Commonwealth this great achievement with a very special Gala Concert in the magnificent Great Hall. The spectacular programme will include song, music and dance from the nine decades, performed by some the regions greatest performers including Northop Silver Band, Haydock Male Voice Choir, classical soloist Stephanie Guidera and plus some up and coming young dancers and singing talent.

The City celebrated the Queen’s Silver Jubilee, Golden Jubilee, Diamond Jubilee and it is now we celebrate the birthday of the longest reigning Monarch in British history.

Songs to be performed on the day will range from Alexander’s Ragtime Band through to the Jazz Era, World War Two, also the best music from West End Shows, The Beatles, Elton John and much more.

You will be thrilled to the sound of the Great Organ, one of the largest in Europe and be blown away by a spectacular finale – the hall promises a wonderful afternoon of joy and celebration.

Tickets are priced at £15 each and go on sale on Friday 4 March at 9am. Tickets can be purchased from TicketQuarter and the concert is free to anyone who turns 90 years of age in 2016 on production of ID.

The concert is produced by RGC Concert Promotions in conjunction with St. Georges Hall.
