Dot-art do the double!

Liverpool based social enterprise dot-art are celebrating after collecting two prestigious awards in the space of a week.

Managing Director Lucy Byrne was named in the WISE100, the UK’s top 100 women in social enterprise and impact investment. The annual NatWest WISE100 recognises the most inspiring and influential women in social enterprise, impact investment and mission-driven business. Lucy joins fellow Liverpool social entrepreneurs Erika Rushton and Kate Stewart on the list.

At a black tie event at Cronton Playhouse last week, dot-art were also named Sustainable Business in the Arts for 2021 at the Liverpool City Region Culture and Creativity Awards. This award is to celebrate businesses that are sustainable and make a significant contribution to economic growth within the arts, culture and creativity sector. 2021 saw dot-art celebrate its 15th birthday and mark over half a million pounds paid directly to local artists as well as increase it’s team to 5, despite the pandemic.
