Jo is a visual artist, DJ, and educator based in Liverpool. She studied and taught Music and Drama, before obtaining B.A. Fashion and Textiles from Liverpool John Moores University.

As a mixed media artist, Jo’s work encompasses print, photography, drawing and painting, collage, textile art, and sculpture. She regularly exhibits her work and produces public art commissions, as well as delivering socially-engaged art workshops and education programmes, both in schools and out in the community.

Much of Jo’s recent work centres around humanity’s place within the universe, and its impact upon Earth’s ecosystems. She endeavours to limit the environmental impact of her work and to raise awareness of environmental issues by using sustainable and recycled materials wherever possible, often working with recycled cardboard, paper and textiles.
