Culture Liverpool works alongside existing public health initiatives to help incorporate the ‘Five Ways of Wellbeing’ in all that we do. The underlying message through the five ways is that mental health and wellbeing is as important as physical health; feeling good is an important part of being healthy.
Art and culture is a fantastic mechanism to encourage people to build the ‘Five Ways to Wellbeing’ into their daily lives – Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning & Give – potentially adding 7.5 years to life expectancy.
