Lunar New Year in Liverpool is an outdoor celebration of age old traditions, the arrival of spring and the beginning of a new year on the lunisolar calendar. This year we are encouraging people to come along and enjoy the festivities and experience some health benefits along the way!

As we expand to the Royal Albert Dock in 2024, the footprint for this popular annual event is now over 1.5km long so you will certainly get your steps in as you walk around taking in the splendour of the celebrations taking place.

Lunar New Year is an explosion of colours, sights and sounds, so you can certainly expect a 360 sensory experience. A little something to make you smile and feel good.

The arts and craft workshops are interactive. Don’t be shy, we actively encourage you to get involved, explore and play. Bring your family and friends and enjoy the experience with others.
