Welcome to Aquatopia is a stand alone commission to mark the anniversary of The Blue and Yellow Submarine Parade, one of the best loved moments of Liverpool 2023. This year we welcome you to join a deep sea disco for all the family and the next chapter of this fantastical underwater story.

The party will bring together the underwater kingdoms of Aquatopia led by the Giant Octopus, Pufferfish Paul and of course the Blue & Yellow Submarine in a huge unifying ceremony!

The afternoon will begin with a chance for families and kids to create their own fancy dress accessories in the ‘Crafty Fish’ workshops followed by a drumming performance from the Giant Octopus and Katumba. The party kicks off in front of the Submarine with a host of DJs, roller skating Jellyfish, sea puppets and dance performances.

The Aquatopia party will be spread over 3 sites across the Pier Head – Submarine stage (near Mersey Ferry Terminal), Mann Island Atrium, and outside Museum of Liverpool. This is a daytime to
evening party suited for kids, families and party-goers alike. We hope to see you there!
