In honour of the Year of the Dragon and the 25th Anniversary of the twinning of Liverpool and Shanghai join Experience Liverpool on a special walking tour.

Find out about the colourful street furniture of Chinatown, explore the symbolism and stories of this wonderful part of the city and Chinese culture. Delve into the fascinating history of Liverpool’s Chinese community, the oldest in Europe. On this tour you’ll also get to try a short introduction to Qigong (weather permitting) by Angela from Angela’s Tai Chi School, so it’s a full body and mind experience.

The Walking Tour is led by Harriet Gilmour from Experience Liverpool, a professional Blue Badge Tourist Guide.

Sat 17th February, 2pm-3.15pm. The tour lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 mins, beginning at the Bombed Out Church and ending in Great George Square in present day Chinatown.

Tickets must be booked in advance cost £9 per person.
