On Friday 4 August, come and witness the final stitches being sewn into the Solidarity Tablecloth at Squash Liverpool.
This summer, artist Tabitha Moses has been working with embroiderers from across the city to create the Solidarity Tablecloth. This new artwork is the legacy of Solidarity Disco Banquets; our joyful project of unity, standing in solidarity with Ukrainian people, part of Euro Street: a unique education & communities programme, to celebrate all things Eurovision.
8 wheat stalks will be stitched in honour of Lughnasadh first grain festival and wheat-growing in Ukraine.
This event will take place in the Front Room at Squash Liverpool. from 12 noon – 2pm.
