The special March for the Medals parade will follow the Drumhead Service, starting at Exchange Flags, following Castle Street, James Street and The Strand towards the Cruise Liner Terminal at Pier Head.
BoA veterans will take the salute at Princes’ Parade, where there will be a flypast at around 1.50pm.
If you have family medals related to the Battle of the Atlantic campaign, or any other related Second World War campaign, you are invited to wear them in honour of your loved one as you watch the local, national, and international contingents march in their memory. Family medals are usually worn on the right-hand side.
Muster will be 1pm, the March will get underway from 1.30pm and will conclude by 2.15pm
Please note if you are travelling to Liverpool by car, there will be long delays on The Stand and Princes Parade will be closed between 1pm and 3pm as the parade takes place.
