Join Liverpool African Diasporic Filmmakers Network (LADFN) for an evening of film and conversation celebrating Liverpool Black Archive Hub (LBAH). LBAH is new online archive of film and photographs celebrating Liverpool’s Black Experience. LBAH catalogues a wealth of stories with a focus on the creativity of Liverpool’s Black community, in a searchable resource perfect for researchers, filmmakers and anyone interested in social history and Liverpool’s Black experience both historically and now.

Come to Metal at Edge Hill train station and join Liverpool African Diasporic Filmmakers Network’s director Michelle Peterkin-Walker and a panel of special guests Jenaya Pickett, Jimi Jagne, Dr S-J Smith to explore the significance of archiving and visibility, view a screening of highlights from the archive and find out more about the project.

This event is suitable for anyone aged 16+. Refreshments will be provided.
