Bring The Fire Project is a performance group like no other!
They use fire, light and circus to entertain, teach and connect communities across the Liverpool City Region. They specialise in bringing these arts to the masses, giving people a chance to take part in fire manipulation workshops and producing visually stunning large-scale outdoor performances.
Their spectacular displays have featured in many of the city’s cultural festivals, including Light Night and River of Light – always working to push the boundaries of artistic quality to give the people of Liverpool something they have never seen before!
Their fully-choreographed Chinese New Year Show inspired by ‘Lunar Year of the Rabbit’ will combine traditional fire theatre with light manipulation and contemporary circus. Expect shaolin warriors setting martial arts on fire, beautiful dance choreographies and kinetic fire sculptures that will create a mesmerising theatre of moving flames.
Catch them as the sun sets from 4:30pm on the Great George Square stage on Sunday 22 January.
