Celebrating Liverpool’s creative and sporting personalities, Wondrous Place uncovers why the city has achieved fame and recognition through the talents of a staggering roll call of entertainers, writers, poets, performers, musicians, visual artists, comedians and sports people. The gallery includes two remarkable new films created specifically for the Museum, and shown on two 360˚ immersive spaces.

Wondrous Place also features two special exhibitions: Boxing Clever exploring the popularity of the sport in the city, and Writing Liverpool about the many writers that have taken inspiration from Liverpool. This gallery also features a huge 80ft window, offering spectacular views out to the Albert Dock and the rest of the city, including the Anglican Cathedral seen from an amazing new angle.
