By William Shakespeare
Boldly going where no other Shakespeare has gone before!

4th July 2018 at St Luke’s Bombed Out Church at 7pm

Shakespeare’s tale of illusion and revenge is brought vividly to life in Oddsocks’ musical, Sci-fi adaptation.

From the company who brought you “bonkers and brilliant” Romeo and Juliet and “downright funny” Macbeth. Experience The Tempest that’s out of this world.

Space explorer Prospero is marooned in a galaxy far, far away with his fearless daughter Miranda and a host of madcap aliens. Years later when his enemies’ ship is passing nearby the chance for revenge on these Space Cowboys is hard to resist and he conjures up the force to bring them to him. This Rocket Man will have his day!

Crash landing in a meteor storm is just the beginning for the crew as they are teased and tormented to submission. Prospero’s enemies do their malevolent best to get away but he’s one tough Space Oddity to beat.

Prepare for launch, get on your space suits and take one small step for man, one giant leap for Shakespeare!

Come along to enjoy a summer evening with the family, bring your picnics, blankets. Seating will be available and refreshments on sale.

This event is all open air, so dress for the weather.
