Mersey Youth Brass curated a programme of music with a selection of Eurovision and Ukrainian music themed around hope, anticipation and expectation for a brighter future arranged for a large brass ensemble.
Over 60 young people from music hubs and organisations across the Liverpool City Region came together to make some noise at pop-up performances across the city and performed on the Eurovision Village stage in the week leading up to the Eurovision Song Contest final.
The programme featured a number of well known arrangements, plus two specially commissioned medleys, by award-winning arranger and composer Lucy Pankhurst.
