‘Liverpool Calling – And the Results Are In’ was a special one-day event on Thursday 26 October at ACC Liverpool that revisited the city’s Eurovision journey and celebrated what was achieved.

Major events have the power to transform cities. From the influx and energy of new visitors driving the economy to the long-term development and profiling opportunities offered through legacy… but is there a cost?

This session explored the peaks and troughs of a host city status from those who understand it best and took a closer look at the all-important relationship between the host city local authority and the event.
