Happy New Year greetings from Kwong Tam Merseyside Tai Chi
Kwong Tam Merseyside Tai Chi in association with See Yep are thrilled at the opportunity to share digital content in the form of videos from recent Chinese New Year Tai Chi demonstrations.
The Kwong Tam Merseyside School of Tai Chi was founded in 1983 by Master Kwong Tam, when he began a twice weekly class at the newly opened Croxteth Sports Centre, Liverpool. 38 years on many hundreds of students have since reaped the benefits of this ancient art.
Tai Chi is a centuries-old Chinese martial art that descends from Qigong, an ancient Chinese discipline that has roots in traditional Chinese medicine. Dating back as far as 2,500 year, it involves a series of mysterious slow, body movements that promote inner peace and calm.
When you participate in Tai Chi group exercise with a great bunch of people under the guidance of Master Kwong Tam you feel motivated and energised! Tai Chi is not just good for the body, it’s also good for the spirit and mind!
All members of the Merseyside Kwong Tam School of Tai Chi wish you a happy Chinese New Year 2024!
