A beautiful dragon has re-emerged from its sleepy nest in the forest to join Movema Dance and bring strength and good luck to the Chinese New Year celebrations.
Originally created for Manchester Day Parade in 2015 with Walk The Plank by artist Julian Taylor, the larger than life dragon has been designed to walk and move like a lizard, inspired by traditional images of dragons in Chinese mythology. The dragon will be brought to life by a team of puppeteers and joined by Movema dancers to create an impressive and awesome sight to behold.
Make sure you catch him in Chinatown at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm!
