‘Liverpool Calling – And the Results Are In’ was a special one-day event on Thursday 26 October at ACC Liverpool that revisited the city’s Eurovision journey and celebrated what was achieved.
2.20pm – 3.10pm: Cultural Programming & Diplomacy (Session 3)
Liverpool was the first city to host the Eurovision Song Contest on behalf of another country and the first to deliver a cultural programme of its kind alongside the competition. During this session attendees heard how the city succeeded with just 6 months from programming to delivery and how important the cultural programme was in representing a contemporary and resilient Ukraine.
