If you are submitting your photograph as part of the #SaluteOurForces Selfie campaign we ask you to agree to the following terms and conditions:
- When you submit your photograph, please make sure that you have permission to upload your photograph
- All images that are submitted must be publicly acceptable and in line with the law
- You do not have to be a professional photographer to submit an image – just make sure that it is clear and we can see you
- It is the responsibility of the person completing the online form to ensure that all necessary permissions are obtained from the subject / owner of the photograph. By submitting a photograph you are confirming that you have been granted full permission to use this image, that you are the copyright holder and that you will be responsible for any claims by any third party
- By submitting your photograph you accept that Liverpool City Council and Culture Liverpool may use your photograph as part of the Armed Forces Day promotional activity
- By submitting your photograph, you hereby authorise Liverpool City Council and Culture Liverpool sole and exclusive rights to use, publish, copy, print, copyright or electronically transfer any or all photographs, video, or audio clips taken of me for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to: public projection, publicity, illustration, advertising, marketing, copyrighting and Web content
- By submitting your photograph you hereby irrevocably authorise Liverpool City Council and Culture Liverpool to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish or distribute this media for Armed Forces Day activities, events, and functions or for any other lawful purpose
- In addition, you waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written or electronic copy, wherein your likeness appears
- Additionally, you waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of any of these photographs, video, or audio clips
- By submitting a photograph you hereby hold harmless and release and forever discharge the Liverpool City Council and Culture Liverpool from all claims, demands, and causes of action which you, your heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on your behalf or on behalf of your estate have or may have by reason of this authorisation
- You certify that you are of full legal age and have read these terms and conditions and fully understand the contents, meaning, and impact of these terms and conditions
