The Clipper Round The World Yacht Race 2017-18 has begun! We had an amazing week of Clipper Festivities in Liverpool, at the Albert Dock, and Race Start was the beginning of the biggest round the world ocean race back in August 2017.
The magnificent fleet will returned to Liverpool in July 2018, and the everyday crew members will return ocean warriors. Race Start was an emotive and empowering event, with thousands turning out to wave the 12 teams on their 40,000 nautical mile journey.
