We’re pushing the boat out this year with live music and entertainment programmed on three stages across the festival site throughout the days and nights of the bank holiday weekend.

Join us for afternoon tea and a Ravel concerto from the wonderful Liverpool String Quartet on the Pier Head bandstand. Or let Mr Swing’s Dance Orchestra fly you to the moon on Saturday night on the Cunard stage.  And as the bank holiday weekend hots up our 10 piece Motown Gold tribute band will have you dancing in the streets of the Pier Head on Sunday night.

There’s some Rum Doodling’s and salty sea shanties  at the Albert Dock courtesy of the Tall Ship La Malouine stage on Saturday and Sunday.  And across the festival site on Monday local performers will bid farewell to the Tall Ships in a Parade of Song.

If a glass of wine or two and the sounds of cool jazz is more up your street then why not hang out at our Pier Head bandstand and take in the sounds of our resident Bordeaux Wine Festival bands –  playing music from  the hot jazz clubs of Paris,  Klesmer geniuses Troika and singing the songs of Jacques Brel with a twist, and reforming for this special event, Dead Belgian.
