Princes Parade – 12 Noon to 6.00pm

Depending upon the numbers of public coming to view the ships berthing on the Cruise Liner Berth it may be necessary to implement a one way system on Princes Parade from St Nicholas Place to William Jessop Way

• Pier Head – 5.00pm to 11.00pm
• Pier Head, Canada Boulevard, St Nicholas Place (Royal Liver Buildings), Water St, Brunswick St,
• Albert Dock – 11.00am to 8.00pm

Saturday 26 May and Sunday 27 May 2018

The following road closures will be implemented for the events on both Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 May:

• Albert Dock: 10.00am – 8.00pm
• Princes Parade and St Nicholas Place (Crowne Plaza): 10.00am – 6.00pm
• Pier Head, Canada Boulevard, St Nicholas Place (Royal Liver Buildings), Water St, Brunswick St, Mann Island: 10.00am – 10.30pm

Potential Liverpool FC Homecoming Parade

Please be aware that if Liverpool Football Club are successful in the Champions League Final then there will be a homecoming parade on Sunday 27 May 2018. The Parade will commence at 12 Noon at Parliament Street/Chalonor Street and will take the following route: Chaloner Street – Wapping – Strand Street – Goree – Georges Dock Gates – Newquay – King Edward Street – Leeds Street – Byrom Street – Hunter Street – New Islington – Erskine Street – West Derby Road. Please note road closures will be going in from 8am that morning to allow infrastructure necessary for the parade on the highway.

The following road closures will be implemented for the Parade of Sail taking place on the River:

• Princes Parade and St Nicholas Place (Crowne Plaza): 8.00am – 6.00pm
• Pier Head, Canada Boulevard, St Nicholas Place (Royal Liver Buildings), Water St, Brunswick St, Mann Island: 8.00am – 8.00pm
• Albert Dock: 8.00am – 6.00pm
• Gower Street: 8.00am – 4.00pm
• Kings Parade/Half Tide Wharf: 8.00am – 4.00pm
• Mariners Wharf/Sefton Street: 8.00am – 4.00pm

The following arrangements have been put in place to assist:

Albert Dock – Gower St and Kings Parade will remain open and resident’s access will be maintained. These areas will only be closed in the event of an emergency.

Mann Island Development/Port of Liverpool Building – Mann Island will be closed on Saturday Sunday and Monday. Access will be maintained for residents via Brunswick St and George’s Dockway. Please note this may be restricted on the Monday during the Parade of Sail due to the numbers of people attending.

Mariners Wharf/Sefton Street – This junction will be closed to all traffic on the Monday. Residents requiring access will need to access via Queens Wharf – Half Tide Wharf – Kings Parade.

Museum of Liverpool – Museum disabled parking will be at Brunswick Street by prior arrangement through Museum Reception.

Mersey Ferry Terminal / Matou – Pedestrian access will be maintained, please ensure deliveries are made outside the road closure times.

Crowne Plaza / IOM Steampacket – Access will be maintained via St Nicholas Place (Crowne Plaza).

Taxi Rank – St Nicholas Place – Will remain open in order to service the IOM Steampacket sailings only.

Liver Building – Access to car parks will be maintained for regular permit holders but access will be through the road closure, please have your building access pass available in your car.

Cunard Building – Access to car park will be via Brunswick Street through the road closure, please have proof that you are a permit holder in your vehicle.

Princes Parade – Provision for resident/business vehicles displaced from the car parks on Princes Parade will be allowed to park in the multi storey car park in William Jessop Way.
