2019 is Liverpool’s Year of the Woman.

RISE is a season of exhibitions, events and happenings exploring and telling the stories of women in all their power, through a cultural lens. Featuring women from Liverpool, the UK and the rest of the world, RISE shines a light on those females whose legacy educates, empowers and inspires.

The full programme which will take place across the city this year will launch on International Women’s Day (8 March 2019).
