Pranas Griušys was born in Klaipėda, Lithuania in 1955. He is painter who has been active in the arts scene since 1980. From 1976 to 1982, he studied at the State Art Institute of Lithuania (now called the Academy of Arts in Vilnius) and graduated with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Art. Since 1982, he has worked as a Professor in the Kaunas Faculty at the Academy of Arts in Vilnius.
