With the success of previous courses and, more recently, our five digital courses, Writing on the Wall (WoW) are launching their tenth Write to Work course. At WoW, we know writing is the number one skill for the workplace and, as we’ve learnt during the pandemic, creativity has never been more important.

Write to Work provides a supportive and friendly space for you to explore a range of writing skills, help build your portfolio, develop professional connections and take positive next steps into employment or further education.

This course starts on Tuesday 13th July, the sixth to be delivered entirely online.

Over 12 weeks Writing on the Wall (WoW) will be hosting over 40 hours of workshops, specialist masterclasses and social meetings with published writers and industry professionals, all offering their personal insights and tips for success.

WoW are also excited for the successful continuation of one-on-one mentoring support for participants with industry professionals. Write to Work features sessions on blogging, screenplay, arts criticism, writing for children, self-publishing, writing for the gaming industry, poetry, copywriting, writing for radio and more.

Feedback from previous participants:

This course has quite literally changed my life. It has been one of the best things I have ever done. The tutors and the staff who run the course have been so personable and welcoming, inspiring and encouraging that for the first time ever I have started to believe that my voice is important and has value.

Write to Work has changed my life. When I think of how far I have come in so many ways, I feel like a completely different person to the one who applied. I feel like I have rediscovered myself.

I wanted to thank the whole WoW team for the excellency of your work. I sometimes cannot quite believe I had the chance to be part of this course from which I learned so much. The benefits were not just in terms of improving my writing but also in terms of accepting myself as a writer and the gaining of confidence.
