Liverpool’s newest and most exciting summer attraction opens this Saturday (5th May), with The Adventure Dock co coming to Duke’s Dock on the Liverpool Waterfront.

An adrenaline fuelled 92-metre floating obstacle course, there’s something for all of the family to enjoy at Adventure Dock and with pay day now upon us, now is the time to book your ticket!

With splashing, sliding and endless amounts of fun guaranteed, here’s just five obstacles you simply have to conquer on the course.

1. The Narrows

Ten feet high and twenty feet long, this is the obstacle that will separate the meek from the mighty. The showstopper of all showstoppers, The Narrows imitates the sensation of walking along a cliff line… so don’t look down. Offering two varying degrees of difficulty, you’ll see the pro’s walking across the wall with no hands, while the amateurs cling on for dear life!

 2. The Ninja Jump

Channel your inner-Ninja by tackling the infamous Ninja Jump. Your task is to jump diagonally across adjacent floating beams. Whether you’re an aspiring stealth warrior, a highly-trained martial artist or an Adventure Dock newbie, taking a splash on this one is a guarantee.

3. Figure 8

The Figure 8 is perfect for speed demons looking to throw down a time trial against their friends. Boasting a two-story, sky-high speedway, you’ll be able to sprint around the corners, over the pass and down the big slide on the waters verge… who wins the race, you decide?

4. Mount Rainier

The perfect vantage point to over-look the course, Mount Rainier is a ‘must do’, with slides, heights and adrenaline a certainty. Use ropes to climb up and the huge slide to slip down, this obstacle will certainly be a crowd favourite this summer.

5. Neptune Steps

With the Adventure Dock suitable for children (8+) and adults alike, there really is something for everyone to enjoy. The Neptune Steps offering the perfect combination of fun and safety, the obstacle may not provide the same ‘wow factor’ as the Narrows or Figure 8, but they will allow those of all capabilities the chance to jump, bounce and enter the course in super quick time.

Tim Woodhead, creator of The Adventure Dock, said:

“We have tried to create something truly special for Liverpool this summer and the new course is made up of over 50 different inflatables! We have been working with American brand UNION aqua parks to bring the best possible experience to the heart of the City and we are honoured to have the very first UNION course in the UK.

“For me, it is all about getting as many people as possible enjoying the water spaces at Albert Dock. Whether you’re a newbie or a hardened adrenaline junkie, there’s gonna be something for everyone.

“The team are working hard to get everything is in place for the summer and we can’t wait for the grand opening this Saturday. We hope to see everyone down here over the next few months.”

Located next to Albert Dock, Adventure Dock will be opening to the public this Saturday and will operate seven days a week throughout the summer months until October 28. Tickets start from just £20 or £18 for groups of four or more.
