More dates added to The Storyhunters experience at The Storybarn due to popular demand

by Culture Liverpool

Due to the success of new family adventure The Storyhunters, launched earlier this month, The Storybarn have added more dates, continuing the run over weekends until mid-June.
Opening in time for the Easter school holidays, The Storyhunters has welcomed over 1,200 people to join a storytelling adventure at the heart of Calderstones Park. Part interactive theatre show, part literature-based experience, The Storyhunters sessions give families the opportunity to explore the imaginative world of The Storybarn with a mix of stories, songs and crafting activities before setting out into the park to hunt for “story clues”.
A recent visitor told us:

“We visited with children aged from two to seven. All of them were absolutely fascinated throughout. I can’t think of anywhere else where such a wide range would be so well catered for. The staff are amazing and interact with the children in such a positive way.
The Storybarn itself is a treasure trove and really facilitates imaginative play. Could not fault a thing. We love this place and will be back!”

Family blogger, Hayley Smith said:

“I loved pretty much everything about this whole experience, having never been inside The Storybarn before I was seriously impressed with it all. It was brilliantly organised, timed just right to hold the children’s attention with a great mix of crafts, stories, songs and activities to suit everyone.
It’s different to the usual kids’ activities and as there is a good bit of theatre mixed in it really helps to keep the adventure going. My boys were captivated all the way through and us grownups had just as much fun, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.”

Open Friday to Sunday, and Bank Holiday Mondays, tickets for The Storyhunters are only £4 per person and are available to pre-book now at www.thestorybarn.org.uk.
