The outbreak of the First World War was a turning point in world history, and Liverpool
played a vital role in the run up to, and during the conflict.
In 2014 we once again, brought the Royal de Luxe Giants to Liverpool for our Giant Spectacular: Liverpool’s Dream event telling the story of Liverpool’s unique involvement in the First World War as only Liverpool can.
Our aim was to create an exciting and inspiring participation programme which reflected the city’s important role in WW1 and shone a spotlight on the many sacrifices made during the war.
