The Liverpool Irish Festival launch brings Festival friends together with opening speeches, music and a live preview of their newly adopted theme song. A natural home, the Centre provides a convivial space in which to toast ‘Sláinte’ (health) to all those who join them, have helped them, and will be with them for many Festivals ahead. Make sure you book ahead to ensure you have the best seats!
The Liverpool Irish Festival are particularly keen to encourage friends from Chinese, Black and other mixed-race Irish groups (and non-Irish communities) to join their event, to show that Irishness is not always white, but it is for sharing.
