Sunday 8th March is International Women’s Day – a day which has been observed since in the early 1900’s.  On this day, thousands of events are held throughout the world to inspire women and celebrate their achievements.

Within Liverpool there are a number of cultural events taking place some of which can be found on our events calendar. Highlights in Liverpool include a range of events run by National Museums Liverpool running throughout the weekend.

For craft fans, the Bluecoat Display Centre is also running a number of FREE workshops from 1-3pm for craft loving ladies!

Celebrating International Women’s Day at the Devonshire House Hotel on Friday 20th March there is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a range of therapies, entertainment and networking opportunities.
