Due to Covid restrictions, the protest performance of I AM NOT OK will now be made into a short film, inspired by Buster Nugent’s protest in the aftermath of George Floyds horrific death, where he stood, for a week at Princess Park Gates, holding a placard saying “I am not okay”. Tmesis Theatre will work with physical performers to embody the struggle of the Black Lives Matter movement and film makers, First Take. We want to spark conversation, and highlight the ongoing need for change.
