Fabio Tasso was born in 1990 in Savona, Italy. He attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Genoa, where he majored in sculpture. During his studies in 2012, he lived and taught in Nepal in the Neydo Tashi Chöling Buddhist monastery, focusing on the connection between emptiness and fullness in the arts. After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Genoa, he moved to Carrara. Here he completed his studies and developed his first sculpt-making machinery. A winner of numerous competitions he has participated in sculpture symposia, artistic residencies and continues his artistic activity both in Europe and the United States. Since 2015, he has been a Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Genoa, where he teaches Life Drawing and Artistic Anatomy.
