As part of the Wilfred Owen Commemoration 2018, Christ Church will be hosting Wilfred Owen – In Memoriam, an evening of music and poetry remembering the life and work of Wilfred Owen and his comrades from Birkenhead.
The music director is Martin Neary who has an outstanding record as a musician and choirmaster.
This evening will feature:
– The Wilfred Owen Choir
– Members of The Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Company
– Three settings of Wilfred Owen poems, set to music by Graham Jordan Ellis
and performed by tenor soloist
– Christ Church Organist Paul Broadhurst
– Readings by Rt Hon Frank Field MP, Dame Patricia Routledge, and Mark Evans
