THE PAUL MIRFIN BAND COMING TO NEW BRIGHTON

THIS TRAIN IS BOUND FOR GLORY!
Get on board the This Train Tour and enjoy foot stomping hoedowns with a touch of Yorkshire folk as The Paul Mirfin Band visit New Brighton this September. The tour follows the release of their new version of This Train is Bound for Glory so join them for an evening of compelling music that promises to lift your spirits.

The Paul Mirfin Band are a Harrogate based group of acoustic musicians who, since forming two years ago, are fast gathering momentum as one of Yorkshire’s most talented producers of original folk rock music. With a unique sound, lyrics and mix of instruments including the Merlin, Shruti and Irish bouzouki, their distinct sound blends American Country porch music with folk rock and bluegrass

Paul’s songs are full of Northern grit and honesty, reflecting his background working on the railways and childhood years in Sheffield. He has played all over the world and at a range of venues from railway platforms to Times Square, New York.

The Fighter and Bring the Rain have been aired on TBN UK and Africa, Premier Radio and BBC Introducing. Paul’s powerful testimony has been featured on BBC1 Songs of Praise and more recently on TBN Meets.
