On Saturday 28 July, the world’s largest fleet of matched ocean racing yachts will conclude its 40,000nm circumnavigation with a final sprint to the finish line just outside The Royal Albert Dock Liverpool and determine which of the eleven teams will win the Clipper Race Trophy.
A spectacular sight, the fleet will then parade on the Mersey before entering the dock where Race Crew will relieve an emotional, heroes welcome.
All eleven teams have circumnavigated the globe, enduring some of the toughest conditions of the planet, sometimes closer to the International Space Station than to land, for the ultimate prize, winners of the Clipper 2017-18 Round the World Yacht Race.
Join with family and friends to experience the atmosphere and celebrate their remarkable achievement, followed by a public after-party at the Royal Albert Dock Liverpool.
Prize giving will be on the Museum of Liverpool south side steps at 2.15pm on Saturday 28 July.
