ON RECORD: UNTOLD & RETOLD

Get ready for a celebration of black music…

ON RECORD: UNTOLD & RETOLD is a specially curated festival that launches on Friday 30 October as part of Black History Month and explores the black music in Liverpool and the role it has played in the city and in communities over the past 70 years.

The month long festival brings together a wealth of original commissioned content including streamed performances, exclusive in-conversation events, film screenings, podcasts, an exhibition and much more.

Iconic masters of music The Real Thing and The Christians will join MiC Lowry, Jennifer John, Hannah Lynch any many more artists to kick start the festival with an evening of live performances, intertwined with a panel discussion and films.

Tune in from 5pm on Friday 30 October. Everyone’s invited.

Head over to www.limfestival.com/onrecord/for all you need to know and don’t forget to get social and join in the conversations.

Funded by Liverpool City Council, the programme has been curated by Yaw Owusu (The Playmaker Group / LIMF).
