The French musique concrète composer was commissioned to create this electronic mass for the opening of the Brutalist building in 1967 but did not complete it.

Fifty years later it will be performed as a live mix by Henry’s sound design partner and engineer Thierry Balasse, a unique performance using 40 speakers designed especially for the circular space.

Did you know? Henry’s influential music has been sampled by many artists over the years, including Fatboy Slim, and his Psyche Rock was the inspiration for the theme tune of Matt Groening’s Futurama.
