Merseyrail Sound Station Live

Merseyrail Sound Station is a new music development programme currently in its second semester.

Merseyrail Sound Station Live

Each semester includes a series of development sessions with industry professionals, high profile musicians and experienced facilitators. At the end of the series the 12 artists – who have been specially selected to take part in the programme – perform as part Merseyrail Sound Station Live in Liverpool Central train station.

The event is an opportunity for the public to experience the best new music the region has to offer and for the artists taking part to put into practice what they have learnt in the development session. The first Merseyrail Sound Station Live took place as part of BBC Music Day in September 2018.
