Knowsley’s popular annual Flower Show, which is in its 19th year, takes place again on Sunday 6 August from 11.00am – 5.00pm with this year’s show celebrating “50 Summers of Love”!

Knowsley Flower Show – the largest free horticultural show of its kind in the North West – is popular with both keen gardeners and families alike. It offers a wide range of activities and entertainment across both Court Hey Park.

At the heart of the show, as always, is the floral marquee which will be filled with brightly coloured flowers and vegetables, entered into one of more than 100 classes – open to both experienced competitors and novices alike.

The packed programme of entertainment throughout the day includes falconry displays, pottery demonstrations, dog obedience, arts workshops and circus skills. A large craft and community marquee will feature in the show along with many trade stands ranging from garden centres to conservatories. Foodies will love the large farmers market selling lots of locally produced tempting treats.

If you are inspired to get green fingered in your garden you’ll also be spoilt for choice with plants, bulbs and seeds at fantastic prices. The schedule of classes will soon be available to download from the Knowsley Flower Show website. Details of free shuttle bus services are available at www.knowsleyflowershow.com
