“Fast-paced, hilariously funny and savagely sad” – St Helens Star

MATE revive this hilarious and poignant Jim Cartwright modern classic following sell out local tours in 2014 and 2016. Actors Jake Ryan and Rachael Reason play the sparring landlord and landlady of a typical 1980’s Northern pub, whilst also embodying 12 other characters who visit the pub over the course of one eventful evening.  Be prepared for a roller coaster of emotions as you become voyeurs and fellow punters, as various members of the local community pull up a stool and let you into their lives.

“Reason and Ryan wring every last drop from the drama and leave barely a dry eye in the house.” – Vicky Anderson, MADE UP

Two will be on at the Unity Theatre in Liverpool on the Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd of February at 8pm
