The Danny, as its affectionately known, was saved from being scrapped by a team of volunteers and with the support of The Heritage Lottery Fund. The ship was restored at Cammell Laird’s and now offers cruises along The Manchester Ship Canal, River Weaver in Cheshire and The River Mersey.
