Crafting Communities – Alder Hey Hospital

This is a new Young Makers Workshop series with established partners Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

Workshop activities are designed with Arts Co-ordinator; Vicky Charnock, the play specialist teams and our professional local artists/makers who would work with patients aged from 3 to 16 years of age, as well as their families.

This new project extends the highly successful partnership between our organisations,  giving children and young people an opportunity to experience high-quality participatory programmes exploring contemporary crafts making, which simultaneously supports and improves their experience of being in a hospital.
