Liverpool born Paul Farley is the author of four highly acclaimed collections of poetry. Presenting BBC Radio 4’s contemporary poetry programme The Echo Chamber, he Is a multi-awarding writer with international acclaim. His most recent collection Dark Film was a Poetry Book Society Choice.
Professor of Poetry at Manchester Metropolitan University, Michael Symmons-Roberts has received the Society of Authors’ Gregory Award amongst numerous prestigious awards. His recent collection ‘Mancunia’ explores both a real and imaginative city, rooted in Manchester and an imagined fallen utopia.
Dublin poet and playwright Stephen James Smith, significant to the rise of the Irish spoken word scene, his short poetry films ‘My Ireland’ and ‘Dublin You Are’, have been viewed over 185-thousand times collectively. He’s performed alongside international artists around the globe. His debut collection, Fear Not published by Arien House will launch in Spring 2018.
Hailed as one of Yorkshire’s most prolific poets by BBC Radio and appearing on many international stages Khadijah Ibrahim born in Leeds of Jamaican parentage is the artistic director of Leeds Young Authors, literary activist and writer, who combines inter-disciplinary art forms re-imagining poetry as performance theatre. Her collection ‘Another Crossing’ was published by Peepal Tree Press 2014.
